I am a bystander that always witnessed the bullying happening in the hallway and I am in grade 7 like both both of you. When ever I pass the water fountain near both of your lockers, I keep hearing racist words that are not polite from a girl.
I have not told on the teachers yet but, that doesn't mean I won't. There were things I did not understand when I heard those harsh words like, why would it make a difference of what colour you are or your background?I am the same race as you (the bully) and I don't think anyone that isn't the same race as you and me should be bullied. We are all different, we have differnt looks, body, personality, feelings, and backgrounds.
Us two are both white and the girl you always bully isn't. You should not just judge her because of how she looks. I think you should apologize to her because that is the right thing to do. Just try to make friends, not make them your enemys.
I hope you will not bother/bully anyone else after reading this letter and the victim, please forgive her. Descrimination is not nice and will just hurt other peoples feelings. By the way victim, you should stand up/defend yourself.
Sincerely, Bystander March/6/2012 Dear Victim,
I am the boy that bullys you and I wrote this letter asking you for forgivness. After the times I bullied you, I recognized something. First, I have not been really nice to you and secondly, I should have never done that. I guess after my parents divorced and my dog died, I didn't handle my emotions very well. I just poured my emotions by bullying people.
I am apologizing for everything I had done to you. So,"Please forgive me". Even if you don't, I hope you will later think about it. If you do forgive me, then both of us could start a fresh start and be friends. Nobody will probably hang out with me after what I've done to them. But I have changed. So please forgive me.
Sincerely, Bully March/7/2012 Dear Bully,
I am one of the victims you have been bullying since school started. I have never told my teacher or my parent's on you because you would get into serious trouble. Instead, I am asking you myself if you would stop discriminating me. I now I have darker skin colour then you. But, that doesn't give you the right to discriminate me.
Everyday from school, I always cried going home because of the things you do to me at school. I have never defended myself. But, now I realize that letting you bully me forever won't stop the matter.
I do not think you should be bullying anyone in the first place. If it is because of a personal thing, then you could just talk to me instead of bullying someone. Please don't bully anyone from this day.
